Avery and I went on a fun road trip with Shely and Isabelle Weinrich this past week. Avery and I were going to Topeka, KS for Avery's great grandmother's 85th birthday party and then onto Lake Ozark, MO for a week with Andrew's parents at their lake house. The Weinrich's were going to Illinois to visit family. We decided to do most of the road trip together. What's better than a Chevy Tahoe with two adults, two infants and a chocolate lab?!? The Weinrich's dropped Avery and I off in Topeka and continued on to to Illinois. We celebrated for the weekend and then headed down to the lake for a week with her grandparents, Aunt, Uncles & three cousins! It was a nice and relaxing week for me and a great chance for Avery to get to meet her family! We plan on going back for Christmas once Andrew gets home!
We made a nice big dog bed for Bowen in the back of the Tahoe but he refused to sleep there. He wanted to squish right between the two babies!

While we spent our days on the dock of the lake house, Avery either slept in the comfort of the air conditioning in the house or in her tent right on the dock!
