Our weekend in the mountains!

Mary (my mother-in-law, for those of you who don't know...), my friend Kylie, Kylie's son Wyatt, Avery and I all took a trip to the mountains for the weekend. We stayed in a cute 2 bedroom cabin in Estes Park. On the way, we stopped at a farmer's market in Boulder. What a cool city?!? We spent one entire day in the Rocky Mountain National Forest. It was gorgeous! We did a small kid friendly hike to a lake. We also took a nice drive 12,000 feet up to a summit that overlooked the park. We even watched elk around feeding time converge in this one field. There had to have been at least 40-50 of them. The elk did not seem to notice that there were cars and humans around. We even got to witness two bucks sparring with their antlers! It was such a fun little get-away. I'm waiting for Mary and Kylie to send me their pictures so I don't have any right now.
