We took Avery to her 1st professional baseball game yesterday! We went to the Colorado Springs Sky Sox. (They're the Rockies minor league team) It was "Math Day" so the stands were filled with tons of elementary & Jr. High students. It was crazy! She didn't really watch much of the game but had a great time looking up into the stands to watch all the kids. She also liked clapping and dancing to all the songs that the stadium played. The mascot, Sox The Fox, also caught Avery's eye! She wasn't sure what she thought of him but was quite interested in all that he was doing. At one point, he came up to her and shook her hand and had her kiss him on the nose. Of course, my camera's battery died for that photo op!!!!

ReplyDeleteLOL... it was a weekday afternoon so besides us and all the school kids, it was empty. Lucky for us that all the kids were in the bleachers!
