Avery & I let Andrew sleep in while we went to church this morning as part of his Father's Day present. For all those sleep deprived parents out there... you KNOW what a great gift sleeping in can be!! ;) Afterwards, we came home and cooked him fresh blueberry muffins, bacon & hash browns (some of his favorite breakfast foods). At lunch, we packed a light picnic of cheese & crackers and hummas & pita bread and went to the park down the street from our house for some relaxing family time. All of the pictures in the 3 following blogs are from our afternoon family time. Avery gave Andrew a nice card with a picture that she drew herself! She's just now getting into toddler crayons and stamps and is getting better and better every time she uses them. The picture in her card is the first picture that she's drawn without my help at all! We also gave him a gift card to get some more Wii games. He's actually at the store as we speak, picking out new games with his gift card! Tonight, at Andrew's request, we'll be bbq'ing burgers and brats! It's been such a nice and relaxing Father's day with plenty of good family quality time!
