Avery loves monkeys these days. She gets so excited whenever she sees them! I saw these jammies today and just HAD to buy them for her. She was so excited when she saw them that she immediately started trying to undress. Poor thing had to wait until after dinner and her bath but the wait was well worth it. 
Before bath time, Avery was riding her ice cream truck around the house. Andrew caught this quick candid and I thought it was just way too cute not to post!
Andrew brought Avery a flute from his San Antonio trip. At first she would just put it in her mouth and make a noise that (she thought) was similar to a flute sound. We didn't expect her to catch on for quite awhile but we showed her a few times how to blow into it and have the flute whistle. Much to our surprise, she caught on how to blow into it to make the noise within 5 minutes!! Her wicker toy basket was starting to fall apart so I bought her this container for her toys. She wanted to sit in it the minute Andrew started filling it with toys. Andrew thought it was cute so he took a few pics of her buried in her toys. Later, she pushed the container through the house, dumping toys here and there. It's kind of counter productive towards what we were trying to achieve but how do you explain that to an 18 month old?!? So we have toys ALL over the house but she had a good time and that's all that matters! :)
