Getting settled into our new home in Austin!

Our new house still has boxes spread throughout each room but we're slowly but surely getting settled in, one box at a time! We love our new rental home and have immediately started to feel right at home. We couldn't be happier with the beautiful neighborhood that we live in. Every house is beautifully maintained and it seems very quiet and safe. Bowen (the dog) & I enjoy our nightly walks two blocks to our mailbox when it cools down in the evening. The neighborhood has a fantastic community pool in it that we've really enjoyed and we look forward to spending a lot of time there! It has a zero depth entry as well as a splash feature that Avery really enjoys. It allows her a little more freedom when playing in the water. The pool also has plenty of shade and lawn chairs to lay out on! The neighborhood also has a lot of green space and walking trails that we look forward to exploring once the weather cools down a bit more! So far, everyone seems very friendly and laid back as well. People are very friendly at the pool and when Bowen & I walk to the mailbox in the evenings. We've even made friends with a couple that live next door to us and have already had them over for BBQ & beers. We haven't even been here for a week yet but we're all overall just very happy with this new move. Besides going out to various stores in the area for supplies, we haven't really had the time to venture out and explore much of Austin. I'm sure that will be coming very soon!
