Avery & I met her new Pediatrician today. We loved her! She answered all of our questions, gave us great advice and just seemed overall knowledgeable! She also gave me a lot of great tips on the picky eating that she's recently started as well as how to discipline her new found toddler behaviors! It was definitely VERY welcomed advice!!!!
Avery ended up getting 5 shots today. She was a trooper! She had to get caught up on 3 shots that she was behind. She also got a regular flu shot as well as the H1N1 flu shot. After much research, we've decided that the risks of the H1N1 virus far outweigh the risks of the vaccine. So now our entire little family is vaccinated and minimized against the risk. It's definitely a weight off our minds! As for the fun stuff... Avery is 24lbs and 32 inches tall. She's in the 50% range for her weight and her head and in the 70% range for her height. The doctor called her tall and skinny! Besides the 5 shots, we had a great first visit with Avery's new Pediatrician!
