Our 2nd baby's 13 week ultrasound!

This blog is going to start a new chapter...
It's still going to be focused on Avery's day to day activities, but it'll also be focusing on the development of her new sibling!! I went to my 13 week doctor's appointment today and everything is looking great! Only one baby (yeah!!! We were worried about twins or something!!) and it's perfectly healthy with a great heartbeat! All of my blood tests came back normal and the baby tested negative for cystic fibrosis. The baby measures at 13 weeks exactly and is 6.5cm from head to toe. As of now, my due date is May 16th so this baby and Avery will be exactly 2 years apart (by just a few days... Hopefully they won't share the same birthday!). We will be finding out the sex of the baby towards the middle/end of December! We want a boy but would feel blessed with another little girl as well... just as long as the baby is happy and healthy!! Below is our first look at baby #2! We were excited to get an ultrasound so early bc we only got our first ultrasound with Avery at 18 weeks in the Army healthcare system! It's nice to see the baby so early in order to make the pregnancy actually feel real! We already posted this picture on the fridge and told Avery that it was a "baby". She is really into babies these days but doesn't quite understand what's going on with me yet but she'll walk by the fridge, point at it and say "baby"! She's going to be such a great big sis!
