We've taken Avery to the Fort Worth Zoo twice now and each time we go, she gets to ride the train that they have there. It's a cute little train but it is only a 5 minute ride that takes you from the back to the front of the Zoo. Avery loves it and always talks about it so we decided to find another train that would be a longer adventure for her. Trinity Park in Fort Worth is a really beautiful park minutes away from downtown and it has a 50 year old miniature train that circles the park. It's a 3o minute ride, which is just enough for a toddler with a short attention span! It goes over bridges and waterways and through the luscious tree lined park grounds. It's a really pretty ride! We packed some sandwiches and snacked as we rode! Avery was very excited but VERY serious during the ride, taking it all in. She did not want to sit on my lap... she had to sit on the bench all by herself too! She LOVED it and has been talking about it ever since. We didn't take a lot of pictures because we were more focused on enjoying it with her but here are a few pictures and videos of our day!

Some of the scenery along the train route. You can see downtown Fort Worth in the distance.
