Sydney's 4 Month Well Baby Appt & various photos of our girls!!

Sydney had her 4 month Well Baby doctor's visit today. It was a little late since she's almost 5 months but that's how it ended up with moving and getting new insurance! I found a GREAT Pediatrician that I'm very excited about! It was an all around great visit and I was very impressed with the Doctor and her staff! Whew! According to the Doctor, Sydney is right on target for all developmental milestones and doing great! They were extremely impressed by the fact that she consistently sleeps 11-12 hours at night and that she started at 8 weeks. They were even more impressed when they found out that Avery was the same!! I take that as a compliment and really thank the "Babywise" principles for such success!! She's now 15.6lbs (90% LOL) and is 25inches tall (75%), very similar to how Avery measured at this age!! Her head is 43cm which puts her in the 90-97%!!!!! So she's got a VERY large head!! :) The Doctor said that it's nothing to worry about! Sydney was very patient and agreeable during the appointment and wooed the whole staff with her bright eyes and adorable smile. Sydney's new found fondness for sticking out her tongue also came in handy during the exam because the Doctor didn't even need a tongue depressor to see inside her mouth... Sydney gladly stuck her tongue out and opened nice and wide. The Doctor found this hilarious! Sydney did have one bad part of her visit - shots! :( She screamed very very loud but was a trooper and recovered quickly! Below is a picture of Sydney recovering in an after appointment nap! Avery & Sydney have been getting along quite well these days and have even started to play together! Sydney absolutely adores her big sister and is very attentive towards Avery and smiles at Avery whenever she's in the room! Below, Sydney is working on learning how to sit up on her own. We've still got a little practice to do with this but we're getting there!
Avery was showing Sydney how to stack the blocks. It was Sydney's job to (rather slowly) knock them over!
